Jim Scilligo began contracting services for clients in 1999. Since then, Jim has raised millions of dollars in sales and support for his clients. He has staged dozens of events with tens of thousands of attendees.

Jim has a Masters Degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. Jim worked as a reporter/on-air talent for more than 15 years – the last five years in the Tampa Bay market. As Community Relations Manager for Barnes & Noble Book Sores, Jim successfully opened new stores across the state of Florida. He directly supervised field marketing and in-store events at seven stores on the west coast of Florida. As Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, Jim boosted cash sponsorships 610% and increased advance ticket sales 27%.

Jim is a 25 year resident of the Tampa Bay area, lending his talents to numerous community projects including serving on the boards of Mainsail Arts Festival, Tampa Bay Civic Opera, First Book Tampa Bay, Florida Department of Education Literary Task Force, Tampa-Hillsborough Public Library Strategic Plan Community Task Force, Hillsborough County Public Schools Travel & Tourism Advisory Committee and Hillsborough Community College Radio-TV Advisory Committee.
